Welcome to my website. I hope it helps you better understand my approach and how I may be of help to you. I have been in private practice in Ottawa since 1989. My approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy, or CBT for short. I like to work in a way that emphasizes strengths, by cultivating a person's own sources of resilience, by helping people develop strategies that let them thrive, and by fostering self-compassion. The work of Dr. Christine Padesky and of Dr. Paul Gilbert and his colleagues have been especially influential on me.
